Job summary

Genesis Employment Services Ltd is seeking an on-site Warehouse Operative to support assembly, packing, and dispatch. The role requires manual handling, labeling, and stock control in a fast-paced environment.

You will use hand tools and pallet trucks, loading and unloading materials, and following strict safety procedures to maintain quality and organisation on site.

Responsibilities

• Carry out heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
• Use a variety of hand tools to complete assembly, preparation, and packaging tasks.
• Label products accurately according to company procedures.
• Count stock and products to ensure accuracy of orders and inventory.
• Pack products securely and prepare them for dispatch.
• Operate pallet trucks to move stock and materials safely.
• Load, unload, and move materials as required.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and safety procedures.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
• Report any damaged stock, equipment faults, or safety concerns to supervisors

Monday – Thursday: 07:00–16:00

• Friday: 07:00–13:00
• Carry out heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely and efficiently.
