Job summary

VRS-UK is seeking a Production Manager to lead day-to-day operations in a state-of-the-art cleanroom manufacturing facility in the English countryside. You will oversee a GxP-regulated environment, manage a production team, and collaborate with QA, QC, R&D and Commercial teams to ensure timely product release.

The role requires proven leadership in cleanroom settings, a degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline, and strong change management and communication skills to drive

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the production team in a GxP-regulated cleanroom environment.
• Organise production space and workflow to ensure efficient processes.
• Oversee maintenance and operation of production equipment.
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained to the highest level.
• Enforce GxP standards across all production activities.
• Support documentation creation, review and implementation.
• Act as subject matter expert during audits, inspections, and internal quality investigations.
• Participate in equipment qualification, validation and training initiatives.
• Identify and raise deviations, lead root cause analysis, and implement CAPA actions.
• Work with Quality Assurance, Quality Control, R&D and Commercial teams to ensure timely product release.

Key Responsibilities

Clean Room Production Operations

• Lead and manage the production team in a GxP-regulated cleanroom environment
• Organise production space and workflow, ensuring manufacturing processes run efficiently and to schedule
• Oversee maintenance and operation of production equipment
• Ensure hygiene and cleanliness standards are maintained to the highest level

Quality & Compliance

• Enforce GxP standards across all production activities
• Support documentation creation, review and implementation
• Act as subject matter expert during audits, inspections, and internal quality investigations

• Ensure compliance with procedures for the handling and disposal of regulated materials

Candidate Profile

• Proven leadership or supervisory experience within a GxP-compliant manufacturing environment
• Strong background in cleanroom operations
• Degree in a relevant scientific or engineering discipline
• Confident managing change in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Excellent communication, team leadership and organisational skills
