Job summary

Kinetic plc is recruiting Manufacturing Production Operatives for its St Helens site in the North West. You will join a busy team manufacturing specialist cabinets and components, following routes and quality procedures to meet customer specifications.

The role offers a permanent contract, 37.5 hours, and a pay rate of £12.72 per hour, with a Friday early finish and scope for a pay review after probation. Applicants should have good maths, the ability to read engineering drawings, and a

• Good mathematical skills and confidence working with measurements.
• Experience reading and understanding engineering drawings.

• Previous manufacturing or production experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Understand and follow route cards and production instructions.
• Select the correct PEM inserts for individual jobs.
• Safely set pressure levels on the Haeger insert machine according to the PEM inserts being used.
• Carry out manual handling tasks, moving materials safely and efficiently.
• Ensure machinery is kept clean, functional and well maintained.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
• Work closely with the Line Manager and Supervisor, reporting any issues promptly and contributing ideas for improvement.
• Follow all company health & safety procedures and compliance requirements.

Kinetic are recruiting Manufacturing Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established and expanding manufacturing business based in St Helens. Production Manufacturing Operative Part of a successful & growing group specialising in bespoke equipment for telecoms networks, our client has built an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and customer service. Due to continued growth, they are looking for Production Operatives to join their busy manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced but supportive production environment, working as part of a team manufacturing specialist cabinets and components. You will play an important role in ensuring products are prepared and completed to the required quality standards, production procedures and customer specifications before progressing to the next stage of manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
