Job summary

Kinetic are recruiting for Manufacturing Production Operatives to join a fast-growing engineering business in St Helens. You will join a busy team manufacturing specialist cabinets and components, ensuring products meet quality standards and customer specifications.

Role requires reading drawings, following production routes, and safely operating the Haeger insert machine with PEM inserts. Permanent, with probation, holiday allowance and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Follow route cards and production instructions.
• Set pressure levels on Haeger insert machine safely according to PEM inserts.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Follow health and safety procedures and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Select the correct PEM inserts for individual jobs.
• Safely set pressure levels on the Haeger insert machine according to the PEM inserts being used.
• Carry out manual handling tasks, moving materials safely and efficiently.
• Ensure machinery is kept clean, functional and well maintained.
• Assist with stock control and inventory management.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised working environment.
• Work closely with the Line Manager and Supervisor, reporting any issues promptly and contributing ideas for improvement.
• Follow all company health & safety procedures and compliance requirements.

Kinetic are recruiting Manufacturing Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established and expanding manufacturing business based in St Helens.

Production Manufacturing OperativePart of a successful & growing group specialising in bespoke equipment for telecoms networks, our client has built an excellent reputation for quality, innovation and customer service.

Due to continued growth, they are looking for Production Operatives to join their busy manufacturing team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced but supportive production environment, working as part of a team manufacturing specialist cabinets and components.

You will play an important role in ensuring products are prepared and completed to the required quality standards, production procedures and customer specifications before progressing to the next stage of manufacture.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Understand and follow route cards and production instructions.
• Select the correct PEM inserts for individual jobs.
• Safely set pressure levels on the Haeger insert machine according to the PEM inserts being used.
• Carry out manual handling tasks, moving materials safely and efficiently.

The Package

• £12.72 per hour
• 37.5 hours per week
• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 12:30pm
• Permanent position
• Pay review following successful completion of probation
