Job summary

Kinetic plc in St Helens is seeking an Assembly Operative for a permanent role, earning £24,804 per year (£12.72 per hour). You will join a busy production team, reading technical drawings, assembling parts, and using hand tools to meet quality targets.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts and components accurately using technical drawings and diagrams.
• Use hand tools and machinery safely and effectively.
• Ensure products are assembled efficiently and to the required quality standards.
• Work to production targets and deadlines.
• Identify and report product defects or equipment issues to a Team Leader or Manager.
• Safely move components and parts when required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.
• Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and guidelines.

Assembly Operative St Helens | Permanent | £24,804 per annum (£12.72 per hour)

Part of an established group specialising in equipment for telecoms networks, our client has built an excellent reputation within their industry and continues to grow year on year. You will join a busy production team where quality, safety and teamwork are important, with the opportunity to learn new skills and develop your experience.

Responsibilities

• Assembling parts and components accurately using technical drawings and diagrams
• Using hand tools and machinery safely and effectively
• Ensuring products are assembled efficiently and to the required quality standards
• Working to production targets and deadlines
• Identifying and reporting product defects or equipment issues to a Team Leader or Manager
• Safely moving components and parts when required
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Following all company Health & Safety procedures and guidelines

• Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing or production environment
• The ability to read and understand technical drawings or diagrams
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to producing quality work
• Strong practical and problem-solving skills

• Monday to Thursday: 7:00am - 3:30pm
• Friday: 7:00am - 12:30pm
