Job summary

Harmony Fire Ltd. in Chesterfield seeks a Production Manager to lead daily production planning and cross-department workflow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong leadership, experience with CNC processes, and a focus on quality, efficiency and continuous improvement. You will coordinate with sales and logistics, oversee maintenance, and ensure health and safety compliance on site.

Qualifications

• Experience as Production Manager or Supervisor in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership and team management.
• Understanding of door manufacturing processes (desirable).
• Lean manufacturing or Six Sigma experience desirable.
• Track record of improving OTIF, OEE and scrap reduction.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily production plan to align with customer demand.
• Monitor workflow across CNC machining, manufacture, painting and assembly.
• Ensure doors meet specifications, tolerances and quality standards; work with Technical/Quality to RCA on NCRs.
• Supervise and lead production teams; run tier meetings and champion SIC drumbeat.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste (Lean principles).
• Coordinate with sales, procurement, warehouse and logistics teams for smooth operations.
• Oversee maintenance of all machinery.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and safe working practices.
• Control production costs, labour efficiency and material usage.
• Investigate and resolve production issues, defects or delays.
• Maintain production reports, KPIs, and perform.

• Monitor workflow across departments such as CNC machining, manufacture, painting and assembly.
• Ensure all doors meet required specifications, tolerances, and quality standards. Work with Technical/ Quality tem to effectively RCA on NCR’s
