Job summary

Mansell Recruitment Group is seeking a Production Manager to lead shop floor operations and drive production efficiency. You will own the flow of work on site, plan labour and materials, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have solid mechanical manufacturing experience, proven leadership, and the ability to read drawings. Experience with lean improvement and ERP systems will be advantageous in this growing manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical manufacturing experience.
• Previous production or workshop leadership.
• Confident reading of drawings and technical information.
• Experience driving lean/continuous improvement.
• Strong organiser and team leader.
• Familiar with ERP systems and MS Office.
• CAD experience would be an advantage.

Production Manager | Shop Floor Leadership | Up to £60,000

A well-established manufacturer is looking for a Production Manager to run the factory and help the business grow.

This is a practical leadership role. You will take ownership of how work moves through the site — planning the team, keeping quality and delivery on track, and finding better ways to build product without adding unnecessary cost or time.
