Search Consultancy LTD is seeking a Level 1 Machine Setter in Crawley to join a market-leading manufacturing team. The role involves setting and adjusting production machinery, operating equipment, and maintaining logs to support production targets.

£33,592 | Early Shift | Crawley

Are you an experienced Machine Setter, Production Line Setter, Machine Operator/Setter or Production Technician looking for a role offering genuine training and career progression?

We're working with a market-leading manufacturer in Crawley who are looking for a motivated Level 1 Machine Setter to join their production team.

This is a great opportunity to develop your technical skills, with structured training and 4 skill and pay bands to progress through.

The Role

• Setting and adjusting production machinery and production lines, including tool changes
• Operating equipment and monitoring production performance
• Carrying out changeovers, quality checks and routine machine checks
• Troubleshooting machine issues and improving machine performance
• Working to achieve production targets
• Completing production records and machine logs
• Maintaining strong 5S and Health & Safety standards
• Working closely with Engineering, QA, R&D and Production Planning

About You

We're interested in candidates with experience as a:

• Machine Setter
• Production Line Setter
• Production Setter
• Machine Operator/Setter
• Production Operator/Setter
• Production Technician
• Manufacturing Technician
• Process Setter
• Line Setter

You’ll ideally have experience setting and running machinery within a manufacturing environment and be:

• Mechanically minded and technically curious
• Keen to learn and develop
• Quality and target focused
• A good communicator and team player
• Comfortable working in a structured production environment

If you’re currently a Machine Operator, Production Operative or Machine Minder and have genuine experience setting, adjusting or troubleshooting production machinery, we’d also be keen to hear from you.

What’s on Offer?

• Early shift: 6:00am-2:30pm Monday; 6:00am-2:00pm Tuesday-Friday
