Search is looking for an experienced Machine Setter for Crawley, offering structured training and progression across four skill and pay bands. The role involves setting machinery, monitoring production, and achieving targets while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

With a salary of £33,592 and early shift hours, the position includes a contributory pension, medical cash back, life assurance, and performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Setting machinery and production lines to specified requirements
• Running equipment and monitoring production performance
• Working towards hourly and daily production targets and KPIs
• Identifying opportunities to improve machine performance and efficiency
• Carrying out regular quality control checks
• Completing accurate production documentation and machine logs
• Communicating effectively during shift handovers and with the wider manufacturing team
• Working closely with QA, R&D, Engineering and Production Planning
• Maintaining excellent 5S standards
• Carrying out regular maintenance checks
• Following high standards of Health & Safety at all times
