Reevr in Eastbourne is seeking a hands-on Production Engineer with a strong mechanical background to improve manufacturing processes, quality, and continuous improvement.

You will support NPI, perform root cause analysis, troubleshoot production issues, create drawings and routes, and develop operating instructions within a modern manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Hands-on Production Engineer with mechanical background.
Proven engineering experience and CAD software experience.
HNC or Degree in Engineering preferred.
Experience in manufacturing processes improvement.

Responsibilities

Support NPI and improve manufacturing processes.
Carry out root cause analysis, 8D and RMA activities.
Troubleshoot production issues.
Create and review drawings, routes and BOMs.
Develop operating instructions and equipment specifications.
Identify cost-saving and process improvement opportunities.
Work with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency, quality and safety.

Are you a hands‑on Production Engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background? Looking for your next opportunity where you can make a real impact on manufacturing processes, quality and continuous improvement?

We’re recruiting for an experienced Production Engineer to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based in Eastbourne.

As a Production Engineer, you’ll be involved in:

Supporting NPI and improving manufacturing processes

Carrying out root cause analysis, 8D and RMA activities

Troubleshooting production and manufacturing issues

Creating and reviewing drawings, routes and BOMs

Developing operating instructions and equipment specifications

Identifying cost‑saving and process improvement opportunities

Working closely with engineering and production teams to improve efficiency, quality and safety

We’re looking for a Production Engineer with proven engineering experience, strong mechanical knowledge, and experience using CAD software. A HNC or Degree in Engineering would be ideal.

This is a great opportunity for a Production Engineer who enjoys being hands‑on, solving problems and getting involved across the manufacturing process.
