Job summary

Prince Personnel Limited is assisting in sourcing a Production Engineer for a major international manufacturing company based in Telford. The role focuses on introducing new products and equipment, and driving improvements across production processes in the UK and internationally.

Working Monday to Friday, mornings and afternoons, you will lead continuous improvement initiatives, collaborate with overseas teams, and contribute to strategic engineering decisions under an experienced leadership

Qualifications

• Experience within a production or manufacturing engineering environment.
• A solid understanding of production processes and manufacturing operations.
• HNC qualification (or above) in an engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement methodologies (desirable).
• Previous experience as a Production Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, Process Engineer, NPI Engineer, or in a similar role.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the introduction of new products and manufacturing equipment.
• Driving continuous improvement and process optimisation projects.
• Investigating production challenges and implementing effective, long‑term solutions.
• Evaluating, recommending and validating new equipment and technologies.
• Collaborating with international colleagues on product development initiatives.
• Supporting the Engineering Manager with key engineering and operational projects.

As the Production Engineer you will be getting involved in:
