Job summary

DFS Furniture PLC in Alfreton is seeking a Production Controller for the Woodmill site to manage works orders and ensure smooth, on-time timber preparation and component manufacturing.

You will raise and coordinate works orders, maintain accurate factory paperwork, and communicate delays promptly to stakeholders while supporting audit processes and stock control for the office and mill floor.

This role is responsible for raising, coordinating, and issuing precise works orders and technical work tickets to ensure the production floor hits its timelines. Acting as a proactive communicator, you will identify and report manufacturing or timber-supply delays to key stakeholders immediately.
