Job summary

Shillito Group is recruiting a Production Controller to join a busy manufacturing business specialising in high-performance metals supplied into Oil & Gas, Energy and Engineering sectors. You’ll be working closely with Operations Management to keep subcontract machining work organised, on schedule and meeting deadlines.

Applicants should have a manufacturing or engineering background, strong organisation and communication skills, and be able to read engineering drawings and tolerances.

Production Controller

You'll be working closely with Operations Management to keep subcontract machining work organised, on schedule and meeting deadlines.

We're looking for someone who understands a manufacturing environment, can manage competing priorities and isn't afraid to get involved.

• An understanding of machining would be advantageous.


• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances would be beneficial.
  
• Someone proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Package:

• £30k plus options of overtime

You don't need to be a machining expert, but an understanding of how a busy engineering environment operates would certainly help.
