Job summary

Placr Recruitment is seeking a proactive Production Scheduler in Hailsham to own production schedules across manufacturing cells and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to set realistic delivery dates.

You will monitor capacity and potential delays, work with Cell Leaders to ensure on-time delivery, and maximise ERP system usage for clear order visibility. The role requires experience in production planning and strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in production planning, scheduling or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Ideally background within precision engineering, manufacturing or assembly.
• Strong Excel, ERP and systems knowledge; Microsoft Dynamics AX experience would be advantageous.
• Excellent organisational, analytical and communication skills.
• Confident decision-maker with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Degree educated or qualified through relevant experience.

Placr’s client is a successful precision engineering and manufacturing business looking for a Production Scheduler to take ownership of production schedules, coordinate across departments and help drive excellent on-time delivery.
