Job summary

Shillito Group are recruiting for a Production Controller to join a busy manufacturing business specialising in high-performance metals supplied into the Oil & Gas, Energy and Engineering sectors.

You'll be working closely with Operations Management to keep subcontract machining work organised, on schedule and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• An understanding of machining would be advantageous.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand tolerances would be beneficial.
• Someone proactive, organised and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage production schedules and subcontract machining workloads.
• Prioritise jobs to ensure production deadlines are met.
• Plan ahead to ensure the right resources are available.
