Mitchells & Butlers PLC in the United Kingdom is offering a full-time kitchen apprenticeship to become a Production Chef Level 2 over 15 months. You will train in a busy kitchen, learn to prep and cook to brand standards, and gain a nationally recognised qualification with mentoring and progression opportunities.

No experience is required; you will be supported to develop practical skills, confidence, and a clear path to head chef roles across our brand kitchens.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; you will be taught on the job.
• You will be working toward a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months.
• You will gain a national qualification while supporting kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

• Communicate openly with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Assist with stock rotation, prep and daily/weekly tasks.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws, and company policies.
