MITCHELLS & BUTLERS PLC is recruiting for a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship role in a busy kitchen environment. You will work full time under experienced chefs while completing a nationally recognised apprenticeship, gaining hands-on practice and a formal qualification.

The apprenticeship includes work-based training, mentorship, and regular progress reviews, with weekly pay between £325.50 and £381.30.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; training provided.
• Work-based apprenticeship with mentor support and regular reviews.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Attend team meetings and contribute insights.
• Prepare, cook, and present food quickly, safely, and to brand standards.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Keep kitchen and back-of-house clean and organized.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep.
