Mitchells & Butlers Leisure Retail Limited is offering an apprenticeship for aspiring chefs. You will train on the job in a fast-paced kitchen, learning to prepare and present food to brand standards while working under experienced chefs.

The Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship runs for 15 months, with full-time hours, mentoring, and ongoing training. No prior cooking experience is required, and progression opportunities exist across our brands.

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required; training provided.
• Must be willing to learn and have a passion for cooking.
• Enrolled in Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship over 15 months.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with the team to ensure the delivery of outstanding food and service.
• Participate in team meetings and share insights.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standard.
• Ensure any guest queries and complaints are handled promptly and professionally.
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the kitchen and back-of-house areas with attention to detail.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep and par process.
• Keep up to date with business information, promotions and new products.
• Participate in all in-house training and completion of assigned learning modules.
• Adhere to brand standards, licensing laws and all company policies and procedures.
• Complete all appropriate documentation, due diligence records, daily and weekly cleaning tasks.
