Job summary

MITCHELLS & BUTLERS PLC is offering a full-time Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship. You will train in a busy kitchen while working toward a nationally recognised qualification over 15 months.

The program combines work-based training with mentorship, with progression opportunities across our 19 brands. You will be supported by skilled chefs, gain experience in daily kitchen operations, and develop fundamentals in food preparation, safety, and customer service while contributing to brand

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required; training provided.
• Willingness to learn and be proud to work in a team.
• Interest in developing culinary skills through apprenticeship.

Responsibilities

• Communicate openly with the team to deliver outstanding food and service.
• Contribute to team meetings with ideas and feedback.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standards.
• Handle guest queries and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and order in back-of-house areas.
• Set up and close down the department including stock rotation and prep.
• Stay updated on promotions and new products and attend training.
