Job summary

Mitchells & Butlers PLC is offering a Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship with a full-time kitchen role. You’ll train on the job, learn from passionate chefs and gain a nationally recognised qualification while contributing to busy kitchen teams across our brands.

This 15-month programme includes work-based training, regular mentoring, and the chance to progress into higher chef roles as you develop practical skills, knowledge, and confidence.

Qualifications

• No prior kitchen experience required; willingness to learn and passion for cooking.
• Must be available for a full-time apprenticeship over 15 months.
• Eligible for Production Chef Level 2 Apprenticeship standard.

Responsibilities

• Have open communication with the team to ensure outstanding food and service.
• Prepare, cook and present food quickly, safely and to brand standard.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in kitchen and back-of-house areas.
• Support training and complete all required learning modules.

Education

Functional Skills in English and Maths (if you don't already have GCSE or equivalents)
