Job summary

Teaching Vacancies seeks a part-time Production Arts educator with real industry experience across audio, visual, sound, lighting, staging, props or set design. The role focuses on translating current industry needs into engaging learning experiences and curriculum development to support student success.

You will develop and deliver training opportunities, tutor or teach in your specialist area, and contribute to building strong industry partnerships within the college community.

• Real industry experience in Production Arts — across areas such as Audio, Visual, Sound, Lighting, Staging, Props or Set Design.
• Up-to-date knowledge of the creative industries and what skills employers need now and next.
• Experience of developing curriculum and turning industry needs into engaging learning and training opportunities.
• A passion for teaching and supporting students, with experience of tutoring or teaching in your specialist area.
• Strong industry connections across Festival Production and Performing Arts, with the ability to build new partnerships.
• Creative, organised and adaptable, with the confidence to work independently, collaborate with others and bring new ideas to life.
