Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Product Support Engineer for our Newtown, UK site. You will collaborate with R&D, Product Management, Manufacturing and Technical Support to deliver technical assistance across a global network and contribute to product testing, firmware releases and field investigations.

The role offers exposure to hardware and software development in a global engineering environment and requires strong relationship-building with customers and partners.

Qualifications

• Degree or HNC in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Experience providing technical or applications support in an engineering environment.
• Ability to build productive relationships with customers, distributors and internal teams at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive and reactive technical support for Control Techniques products.
• Investigate and resolve complex technical and field issues.
• Work closely with R&D on product hardware and firmware development and testing.
• Provide feedback to Product Management on product issues, improvements and new requirements.
• Develop technical documentation, user guides and training materials.
• Act as an interface between Manufacturing, Design, Product Management and the wider global support network.
• Support conferences, exhibitions and customer visits both in the UK and internationally.
