Job Description: Product Support Engineer - Rail

Location: London, ENG - SE25 5PY

Type: Full Time, Permanent, Shift work (days & nights), Mobile Role with Van provided

As a Product Support Engineer - Rail, you will conduct routine maintenance and repairs on mtu rail products according to approved manuals and contract requirements, embracing digitalisation. Responsibilities:
  1. Perform preventative and corrective maintenance following schedules, manuals, and contracts.
  2. Participate in continuous improvement activities and suggest enhancements.
  3. Conduct planned maintenance as per operating instructions.
  4. Attend customer meetings for work sign-offs.
  5. Perform fault finding and repairs using technical documentation.
  6. Complete documentation of all activities accurately.
  7. Engage in HSQE management processes.
  8. Maintain cleanliness of onsite facilities.
  9. Attend training to update skills.
  10. Participate in 24/7 shift work, including callouts.
  11. Work as a mobile engineer if required, with a company van.
  12. Cover activities at other depots as needed.
  13. Report parts used during service for stock control.
  14. Utilize IT systems such as Go!Care, C4S, eWeb, Go!Manage, Diasys, Outlook.
