Waylands Automotive Limited in Oxford is looking for a Product Specialist to help customers get excited about MG products. You will train through Level 1 to Level 3, eventually becoming a Sales Executive.

Duties include listening to customers, photographing stock, preparing showroom, organizing test drives, and understanding our vehicle range.

Are you fanatical about cars and would like to start a career in the motor retail industry?

We’re currently looking for a Product Specialist to join our growing team at our MG dealership in Oxford to help customers get excited about our products. MG is currently producing some of the most innovative new products, so this is an exciting time to be joining the brand. With training, you will become the branch expert when it comes to our products, so you can help our customers make the right choice when they buy a vehicle.

You would come in at Level 1, and with our Product Specialist training programme, move through to Level 2 and 3, at which point you would be able to become a fully‑fledged Sales Executive.

Duties will include:

• Listening to our customers to help them find the perfect vehicle for them.
• Helping the Marketing team by photographing stock images of our products.
• Preparing the showroom and cars each morning.
• Organising and accompanying customers on test drives.
• Understanding the range of vehicles we stock and the relevant manufacturer.

About You:

• You’ll be an active listener and excellent communicator.
• You will adopt a positive attitude with all customers.
• You’ll get job satisfaction from providing an outstanding service to our customers.
• You’ll have a full UK driving licence.
• You’ll be as happy working on your own initiative as you are in a team.
• You’ll have a thirst for knowledge and a desire to learn.

Salary, Hours and Benefits:

• Mon-Fri 08:30-18:00, Saturday 08:30-17:00, with a day off in lieu.
• Salary: £29,741.40 per annum
• 31 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays, some of which you will be required to cover)
