Job summary

Waylands Automotive Limited in Newbury is seeking an experienced Technician to join the Polestar team. You will service and repair customer vehicles, operate diagnostic equipment, and deliver right-first-time work; main dealer experience is preferred but full training will be provided.

You should be time-served with NVQ Level 3 and hold a full driving licence. Hours are Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm with Saturday on a rota; 45 hours per week.

• Ability to use diagnostic equipment and diagnose issues accurately.
• Full UK driving licence required.

We are looking for an experienced Technician to work alongside our existing dedicated team at our new Polestar dealership in Newbury. The successful candidate will be time served and hold NVQ or equivalent qualifications to Level 3.

What’s the role?

Although this is predominantly not a diagnostic role, you must be able to use current diagnostic equipment, have a proven track record in delivering 'right first time' work and have good communication skills.

In this role you will work towards productivity and efficiency targets, and repair and service customer vehicles. Main dealer experience would be preferred; however full training will be given. A full driving licence is essential.
