Job summary

Vax is seeking a Quality Manager (Product Support Manager) to lead post-launch product quality, drive investigations and improvements, and own the Quality Systems & Data capability. Reporting to the Head of Quality, you will manage a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with Quality Engineers, suppliers and global teams.

You will analyse field data, ensure governance and document control, and prioritise analytics and continuous improvement to feed future products and processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading and developing technical teams.
• Strong product quality, engineering or product-support experience.
• Structured problem-solving and root-cause analysis.
• Ability to analyse field, warranty and quality data.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and document control.
• Experience with overseas manufacturers and suppliers.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-launch product quality, using field performance and quality data to identify improvement priorities.
• Lead complex product, customer safety and property damage investigations.
• Drive structured root-cause analysis and sustainable corrective actions with Quality Engineers and suppliers.
• Oversee IQC, product inspections, workshop activities and product investigations.
• Monitor product fixes to ensure improvements are effective and sustained.
• Support NPD from Engineering Build (EB), ensuring field learning and known issues are addressed before MP.
• Own the Quality Systems & Data capability across the department.
• Ensure effective governance, document control, data capture, reporting and Quality systems.
• Prioritise systems development, analytics and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure lessons learned are fed back into future products and business processes.
• Lead, develop and prioritise the Product Support Engineering team.
