Job summary

Vax is seeking a Quality Manager (Product Support Manager) to lead post-launch product quality, drive field-based improvements and manage the Quality Systems & Data capability. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team and collaborate with Quality Engineers, suppliers and global teams to ensure robust governance and data-driven decision-making.

The role requires strong leadership, engineering/quality background, and the ability to translate field data into actionable priorities, while

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading technical teams.
• Strong product quality and product-support background.
• Expertise in structured problem-solving and RCA.
• Ability to analyse field, warranty and quality data.

Responsibilities

• Lead post-launch product quality and drive improvement priorities.
• Lead complex product, customer safety and property damage investigations.
• Drive structured root-cause analysis and corrective actions with Quality Engineers and suppliers.
• Oversee IQC, product inspections, workshop activities and product investigations.
• Monitor product fixes to ensure improvements are effective and sustained.
• Support NPD from Engineering Build, ensuring field learning and known issues addressed.
• Own the Quality Systems & Data capability across the department.
• Ensure governance, document control, data capture, reporting and Quality systems.
• Prioritise systems development, analytics and continuous improvement activities.
• Ensure lessons learned are fed back into future products and business processes.
• Lead, develop and prioritise the Product Support Engineering team.
