You will own the product backlog, translate business needs into actionable user stories, and work with engineering teams and senior stakeholders to ensure value delivery.

This hybrid role, after a 3‑month probation, offers a competitive £60,000 salary and benefits in a growing technology business focused on secure data handling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Product Owner or similar software delivery role.
• Strong backlog management experience.
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience translating business and technical requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and ownership mindset.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the product backlog and prioritize work to align with business objectives.
• Translate customer needs and business requirements into clear user stories, specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to guide delivery of new features and improvements.
• Balance delivery of new functionality with technical debt and operational needs.
• Support product launches and go‑to‑market activities with commercial teams.
• Report progress to senior stakeholders and adapt plans based on feedback.
