Job summary

Ex-Mil Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Product Owner in Knutsford, Cheshire (hybrid after probation) to own product delivery and work closely with engineering teams and senior stakeholders. You will shape priorities, translate requirements into actionable tasks and ensure high‑quality solutions.

The role requires strong Agile/ Scrum experience, excellent communication, and a commercially aware mindset to deliver measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar software delivery role.
• Experience managing and prioritising product backlogs.
• Good knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Experience translating business and technical requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.
• Experience working closely with software engineers and development teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to engage with both technical teams and senior business stakeholders.
• Strong organisational and problem‑solving skills with competing priorities.
• Commercial awareness of how product development contributes to customer satisfaction and business growth.
• A proactive, hands‑on approach with the confidence to make decisions and take ownership of product delivery.

Responsibilities

• Guide delivery with development teams, ensuring new features meet requirements.
