You will analyse business requirements, drive product improvements, and ensure successful delivery of enhancements. Suitable candidates will have strong analytical skills, detailed-orientation, and experience with Agile, third-party suppliers, offshore teams, and end-to-end delivery.

Product Owner

Proactive IT Appointments are currently supporting our leading client on the search for an experienced Product Owner to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and analytical professional to play a key role in the continuous development and enhancement of products and supporting systems, driving business improvements and delivering tangible benefits. Working closely with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders, you will be responsible for analysing business requirements, improving processes, supporting solution development and ensuring the successful delivery of product enhancements.

Previous Experience:

• 5+ years' experience in a Junior Product Owner or Business Analyst position

Essential Experience Required:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work at a detailed level across complex business functions.
• Capable of: identifying and challenging the effectiveness of existing ways of working; of proposing improvements; and of achieving buy-in from stakeholders.
• Experience working within agile development methodologies.
• Experience working with third party suppliers and off-shore teams.
• Experience of end-to-end project delivery.
• Understands and applies risk management techniques.
• Demonstrates and applies principles of data governance.

Desirable Experience:

• Experience developing B2C websites (including wireframing tools).
• Experience developing B2C mobile applications.
• Experience implementing/supporting single sign on solutions.
• Experience implementing/supporting system integration solutions.
• Experience in data modelling and database querying (particularly SQL databases).
• Experience of API payload analysis.
• Experience working in the pensions industry.
• Experience working with ADO.
• BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis (in part or whole).
• Qualifications in Lean Six Sigma.
