Job description

We're partnering with an established, technology-led organisation delivering business-critical SaaS solutions that help businesses manage complex operational processes, improve efficiency and streamline their day-to-day activities.

Operating within a specialist B2B technology environment, the business is continuing to develop and enhance its software platform, with a strong focus on improving customer experience, introducing new functionality and delivering practical solutions to real-world challenges.

This is an opportunity for a hands-on Product Owner to take genuine ownership of feature delivery, working closely with Product leadership, Engineering and customers to shape how the platform evolves.

The What

You’ll be responsible for taking product features from initial concept through to development, testing and release, ensuring customer and business requirements are translated into clear, practical solutions.

Working closely with the Product Director, Developers, QA and wider business stakeholders, you’ll define requirements, create user workflows, develop wireframes and ensure engineering teams have everything they need to deliver high-quality functionality.

From understanding customer challenges and shaping feature specifications to supporting releases and gathering feedback, you’ll play a pivotal role in improving the product and the experience of those using it.

This isn’t simply a backlog management role.

We’re looking for someone who can independently own features, challenge assumptions, make informed product decisions and take responsibility for delivering solutions that genuinely add value.

Critical

Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Product Manager within a software / SaaS environment.

Strong requirements gathering, feature definition and functional specification experience.

Ability to independently take features from initial requirements through development, testing and release.

Experience creating user workflows, wireframes and detailed acceptance criteria.

Strong stakeholder engagement skills, working closely with both technical and non-technical teams.
