Job summary

Ummah Welfare Trust in Bolton, United Kingdom, invites applications for a Senior Product Owner to lead a Salesforce Programme/Aid Management application. You will bridge programme teams with technical delivery partners to ensure the solution meets needs and improves efficiency across multiple countries.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree-equivalent and proven Salesforce product ownership, Agile delivery, and stakeholder management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Project Management, International Development or related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Functional Lead on Salesforce implementations.
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce custom applications and platform capabilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong stakeholder management and requirements-gathering skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Excellent organizational and prioritisation skills.
• Proven success coordinating UAT and securing stakeholder sign-off.
• Track record of supporting Salesforce solution implementation and user adoption.
• Experience creating business requirements documentation and user stories.

Responsibilities

• Lead product ownership for the Salesforce Programme/Aid Management application.
• Gather, document and prioritise business requirements from programme, grants, MEAL, finance and operations teams.
• Translate business needs into clear user stories and functional requirements for technical delivery teams.
• Maintain and actively prioritise the product backlog in collaboration with all stakeholders.
• Design and rollout workflows for programme management, beneficiary tracking, grant and donor reporting, case and activity management, and MEAL (monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning).
• Facilitate workshops, sprint planning sessions, user testing and stakeholder reviews.
• Collaborate closely with Salesforce developers, administrators, implementation partners and business users.
• Ensure alignment with organizational processes, data governance, safeguarding and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) and lead change management activities.
• Develop training materials, documentation and adoption plans.
• Monitor delivery progress, risks and dependencies throughout implementation.
