Job summary

Forvis Mazars is seeking a Product Owner – Audit Tools & Techniques to own BAU governance of ATTs and licensed audit tools. You will ensure compliance with audit methodology and regulatory requirements, and coordinate across IT, procurement, and audit teams.

The role focuses on licence management, supplier relationships, and control improvements to embed tools effectively into audit delivery. Strong governance and stakeholder engagement are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience within audit, audit quality, audit operations or a governance-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of audit methodology and regulatory expectations (e.g. ISQM1).
• Strong stakeholder management across technical, operational and business teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the full BAU lifecycle of ATTs and licensed audit tools after development and initial implementation.
• Maintain governance and compliance position for all assigned tools, aligned with ISQM1 and audit quality requirements.
• Oversee governance renewals, certification renewals and decommissioning activities where required.
• Manage licence allocation, access control and renewal cycles for audit tools across the population.
• Lead relationships with third-party suppliers, including contract renewals and performance monitoring.
• Monitor tool usage and feedback to inform prioritisation and decision-making.
