Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a Product Owner for Audit Tools & Techniques to own BAU governance of ATTs and licensed audit tools after delivery. You will ensure alignment with audit methodology and regulatory requirements while coordinating across IT, procurement, and audit teams.

The role emphasizes licence management, supplier relationships, training material updates and clear guidance for audit teams, with strong focus on risk management and data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Experience within audit, audit quality, or governance-focused environments.
• Strong understanding of audit methodology and ISQM1.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical, operational and business teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tools, priorities and processes with strong control.
• Strong attention to detail in governance, documentation and compliance.
• Ability to identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies.
• Strong written and verbal communication for audit teams.
• Commercial awareness, particularly licensing and supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Own the full BAU lifecycle of ATTs and licensed audit tools following delivery and initial implementation.
• Maintain governance and compliance position of all assigned tools, aligned to ISQM1.
• Oversee governance renewals and decommissioning activities where required.
• Manage licence allocation, access control and renewal cycles across the audit population.
• Lead relationships with third-party suppliers, including contract renewals and service reviews.
• Monitor tool usage, adoption, performance and feedback to inform decisions.
• Ensure tools remain aligned to audit methodology and update as needed.
• Maintain and update training materials, user guidance and methodology content.
• Coordinate BAU handover from Transformation to BAU ownership.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies and drive mitigation actions.
