Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a Product Owner for Audit Tools & Techniques (ATTs) to own BAU governance and compliance for audit technology solutions. You will manage licences, supplier relations and change governance, ensuring tools stay aligned to audit methodology and regulatory expectations.

You will collaborate across Audit Quality Support, Transformation, IT and procurement, guiding tool adoption, training, and documentation while mitigating risks and dependencies.

Qualifications

• Experience within audit, audit quality, audit operations or a governance-focused environment.
• Strong understanding of audit methodology and regulatory expectations (e.g. ISQM1).
• Strong stakeholder management skills and ability to coordinate across technical, operational and business teams.
• Commercial awareness of licensing, supplier relationships and cost management.

Responsibilities

• Own the full BAU lifecycle of ATTs and licensed audit tools after development, governance and initial implementation.
• Governance and compliance for all assigned tools, aligned with ISQM1 and audit quality requirements.
• Oversee governance renewals, decommissioning, and licence allocation cycles across the audit population.
• Manage relationships with third-party suppliers, including contract renewals and service reviews.
• Monitor tool usage and performance; use data to inform decisions and prioritisation.
• Ensure tools remain aligned to audit methodology; update guidance and content as needed.
