Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK seeks a Product Owner for Audit Tools and Techniques (ATTs) to own the business-as-usual management, governance and compliance of audit technology solutions after delivery. The role coordinates with Audit Quality Support, IT and procurement to ensure tools remain compliant, well-governed, and embedded within audit delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience within audit, audit quality or governance-focused environments.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical, operational and business teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tools, priorities and processes simultaneously with strong control.

Responsibilities

• Own the BAU lifecycle of ATTs and licensed audit tools after development and initial implementation.
• Governance and compliance management for assigned tools, aligned with ISQM1 and audit quality standards.
• Oversee renewals, decommissioning and licence allocation across the audit population.
• Manage relationships with third-party suppliers, service reviews and performance monitoring.
• Monitor tool usage and provide data-driven insights to inform decisions and prioritisation.
• Maintain training materials and guidance reflecting current tool functionality and regulatory expectations.
• Coordinate between Audit Quality Support, IT, Procurement, and audit teams for tool governance.
• Support transition of tools from Transformation into BAU ownership with proper handover.
