Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a Product Owner for Audit Tools & Techniques (ATTs) to own the BAU lifecycle and governance of licensed audit tools post-delivery. You will ensure compliance with audit methodology and regulatory requirements while coordinating with Audit Quality Support, Transformation, IT, and procurement.

You will lead licence management, supplier relationships, and tool performance monitoring, providing clear guidance to audit teams and maintaining up-to-date documentation

Qualifications

• Experience in audit governance and assurance workflows.
• Strong understanding of ISQM1 and audit quality requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder management across technical and business teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tools, licences and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Own the full BAU lifecycle of ATTs and licensed audit tools after delivery and implementation.
• Maintain governance and compliance for all assigned tools, aligned to audit methodology.
• Oversee governance renewals, certifications and decommissioning activities as needed.
• Manage licence allocation, access control and renewal cycles across the audit population.
• Lead relationships with third-party suppliers including renewals and performance monitoring.
• Monitor tool usage and performance, using data to inform decisions and prioritisation.
• Update training materials and guidance to reflect current tool functionality and regulatory expectations.
