Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a Product Owner to own discovery, shaping, proposal, and end-to-end delivery of product bets in the Platform Experience squad. You will consolidate book search and recommendations features and develop AI tools for students, while overhauling the mobile eReader.

You will analyse and synthesize quantitative and qualitative evidence, connect work to squad KPIs, and brief engineers, designers, and copywriters with clear scope.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of product ownership experience.
• Experience shipping products that moved a metric, with measurable impact.
• Experience building habit-forming experiences and driving engagement.
• Strong quantitative data skills and BI tool experience.
• Ability to brief engineers and designers with clear scope and rationale.

Requirements

• 2+ years owning product
• Experience shipping products that changed a metric, with ability to quantify which metric and by how much
• Experience building habit-forming experiences and driving weekly and monthly engagement metrics
• Quantitative skills, including digging into data and BI tools
• Ability to interpret experiment results and size opportunities independently
• Ability to brief engineers and designers with clear scope, edge cases, exclusions, and rationale
• Regular user research and ability to use user feedback to shape products
• Ability to make trade-offs and clearly articulate what was traded away
• Ability to analyse and synthesise quantitative and qualitative evidence
• Ability to communicate product evidence and its implications
• Ability to connect work to squad KPIs and company context
• Ability to brief engineers, designers, and copywriters
