Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a product-focused software engineer with a frontend-first remit to deliver AI-enabled features in a regulated domain. You will own end-to-end product slices, collaborate with founders, designers and AI engineers, and ship high-impact capabilities.

Job description

Own product delivery from specification through production, primarily frontend-first with backend and integration work as needed
Build product surfaces for compliance reviewers, including workflows and review UIs
Ship features where AI is part of the critical path
Deploy a production change on the first day and a feature in the first week
Contribute to product direction, technical decisions, and prioritization
Take ownership of shipped work, including post-launch
Work with founders, designers, AI engineers, compliance teams, and marketing teams
Develop integrations with Canva, Figma, Google Docs, Contentful, Workfront, Monday.com, and Frame.io
Build interfaces including a Chrome extension, natural-language compliance copilot, model review interface, and prioritized compliance task dashboard

Requirements

Ability to own and ship end-to-end product slices with minimal supervision
Demonstrated track record of features that shipped, stuck, and solved real user problems
Product trade-off judgement
Product taste and attention to detail
Ability to work effectively with founders, designers and AI engineers
Fluency with modern coding tools, including Claude Code, Cursor, and agents
Strong TypeScript and React skills
Comfortable working end-to-end
Experience building products where AI is in the critical path
Experience with modern web tooling
Experience with Node and Postgres
Experience with Cloudflare Workers, Hono, or Drizzle preferred
Experience in regulated industries such as fintech, healthtech, or legaltech preferred
Must be based in London or able to work in London
Must work from the Farringdon office 4 days a week
