Jobtailor is seeking a Product Manager/Delivery partner to support PMs and cross-functional teams in defining, prioritizing, and validating product requirements. The role emphasizes user research, agility, and data-driven decision making, within a UK-based delivery context.

The candidate will collaborate across engineering, design, analytics, risk, security, and operations; participate in Agile ceremonies; and help drive metrics and roadmaps for successful releases.

Responsibilities

  • Support PMs and delivery teams in refining product requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Assist with customer discovery, stakeholder interviews, user research activities, usability testing, and feedback analysis.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, risk, security, operations, and business teams.
  • Support Agile Release Train, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, capacity considerations, and delivery impediments; escalate issues requiring senior leadership decisions or support.
  • Create, consolidate, and analyze portfolio, release train, product, and team-level metrics.
  • Support implementation roadmaps, cross-functional dependency management, and leadership updates on delivery status.

Requirements
  • Support Product Managers and delivery teams in defining, refining, and prioritizing product requirements, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, and support documentation
  • Assist with customer discovery, stakeholder interviews, user research activities, usability testing, and feedback analysis
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, risk, security, operations, and business teams
  • Support Agile Release Train, backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies
  • Monitor risks, dependencies, capacity considerations, and delivery impediments; escalate issues requiring senior leadership decisions or support
  • Facilitate or document technical discussions about architecture, system design, roadmap tradeoffs, delivery readiness, and implementation planning
  • Create, consolidate, and analyze portfolio, release train, product, and team-level metrics
  • Support implementation roadmaps, cross-functional dependency management, and leadership updates on delivery status
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, redesign process flows, strengthen documentation, and support continuous learning
  • Demonstrated interest in technology, product management, digital products, customer experience, Agile delivery, or technology program delivery
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to evaluate information, identify patterns, and distill complex topics into clear recommendations
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain ideas clearly and concisely
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment and build relationships with cross‑functional partners
  • Familiarity with customer journeys, user‑centered design, feature prioritization, product strategy, roadmap planning, requirements definition, user stories, and launch readiness
  • Understanding of AI concepts, including prompt design, model capabilities and limitations, responsible AI practices, human‑in‑the‑loop review, and AI output evaluation
  • Experience using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Figma, Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
  • Preferred: Experience in product management, technology delivery, digital products, customer experience, payments, or emerging technology
  • Preferred: Support for SDLC, change management, and release management activities
  • Preferred: Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, Lean, Scrum, Kanban, PI planning, retrospectives, dependency management, risk tracking, and delivery metrics
  • Preferred: Awareness of APIs, internal tools, system design discussions, SDLC practices, change management, release management, and implementation roadmaps
  • Preferred: Ability to use customer insights, product metrics, dashboards, KPI tracking, experimentation, and operational data
  • Preferred: Interest in user research, design thinking, usability testing, accessibility, journey mapping, inclusive design, and service excellence
  • Preferred: Experience with generative AI, AI agent‑enabled collaboration tools, intelligent automation, AI‑generated documentation validation, responsible AI usage, and human‑in‑the‑loop review
  • Preferred: Strong communication, collaboration, organization, analytical thinking, learning agility, and attention to detail
  • Preferred: Resilience, proactive problem solving, curiosity, ownership, optimism in changing circumstances, and comfort challenging the status quo respectfully
