Job summary

GE Vernova - Grid Automation is seeking a Control System Technical Lead to drive design and delivery of control systems for electric utility and industrial markets. You will lead projects from inception to site commissioning, interfacing with customers and GE’s technical community.

The role requires senior-level experience in control systems, SCADA/HMI design, and cybersecurity, with travel to customer sites globally. Collaborative, results-driven professionals fit best.

Qualifications

• BSc in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Over five years of control-system related experience.
• Strong knowledge of SCADA protocols, Windows OS, Microsoft Office and database apps.
• Proficient in designing/ Programming electrical control systems incl. SCADA/HMI, IEC61850 and cybersecurity.
• Experience with GE Vernova Substation Automation Solutions is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects: drive activities from design to commissioning.
• Manage customer communications, risk reviews and budgets in man-days.
• Analyze specifications, write technical docs and validate solutions.
• Oversee selection of software/IEDs and execution planning.
• Coordinate testing: FATs, SATs and site milestones.
• Provide customer training and support tendering and commercial teams.
