Job summary

GE Vernova, through its Grid Solutions business, seeks a seasoned engineering project leader to drive global project control and standardize processes for grid transmission projects. The role focuses on coordinating multi-disciplinary teams, managing design workpackages, and governing engineering performance to meet safety, quality and schedule targets across international sites.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree level or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience leading grid transmission projects in EPC environments.
• Proven project technical management across multi-disciplinary teams and interfaces.
• Ability to lead teams in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coordinate and lead engineering activities for projects, meeting safety, quality, schedule and cost criteria.
• Manage scope and engineering deliverables with responsible functions/ disciplines.
• Coordinate global schedules and ensure alignment with procurement, construction, commissioning.
• Lead design validation and supplier documentation from RFQ to SAT for procurement packages.
• Oversee governance to manage engineering performance and project objectives.
• Engage in multidisciplinary design reviews per EMH procedures and project strategy.
• Prepare design changes and related claims in line with project management approvals.
