Job summary

CBSbutler is seeking an experienced Product Manager to join the Making Tax Digital (MTD) programme. The role is hybrid (Telford) with 2–3 days onsite, paying £450 per day inside IR35 on an initial 4-month contract. BPSS clearance is required or obtainable.

You will work across Agile Scrum teams, manage delivery schedules, budgets and risks, and ensure effective communication with customers, delivery teams and programme stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong Product, Project or Delivery Management experience.
• Proven experience working with Agile/Scrum teams.
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, risks, resources and change.
• Strong stakeholder and customer management skills.
• Experience delivering complex projects within structured governance environments.
• Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• BPSS clearance or ability to obtain it.

You'll work across a varied programme portfolio, managing delivery schedules, budgets, risks, resources, change and stakeholder relationships. You'll also support implementation and ensure effective communication across customers, delivery teams and wider programme stakeholders.

Key experience required:
