Met Office is offering a 12-month Year in Industry placement for a Product Management track starting July 2027. The role is full-time (37 hours per week) with a hybrid working pattern, requiring attendance in the office at least once a week.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree related to product management or relevant field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience delivering to deadlines and managing multiple tasks.
• Experience in researching and analysing information.
• Curiosity and willingness to learn about product management.

Responsibilities

• Develop domain knowledge of Met Office products and services.
• Understand users and customers and how they use products.
• Describe what a road map is and how it is used.
• Discuss benefits of products with business areas.
• Identify risks and dependencies and how to mitigate them.
• Apply Agile principles to delivery needs; collaborate effectively and build a high-performing team.
• Contribute to shaping the product vision the team aims to achieve.
