The Met Office is offering a 12-month Year in Industry Industrial Placement in Digital Content and User Experience, starting July 2027. The role involves working with digital teams, designers, developers and content creators to shape how users interact with our platforms.

You’ll gain hands-on experience across content strategy, CMS and SEO, within a collaborative, innovative team. The placement is full-time (37 hours per week) with a potential hybrid pattern (office once a week minimum).

Qualificações

• Undergraduate degree with a significant marketing focus.
• Strong interest in digital content, user experience and SEO.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure.
• Team player with collaborative mindset.

Responsabilidades

• Manage keyword research and support SEO projects.
• Act as product specialist for the website CMS.
• Contribute to website content strategy and governance design.
• Assist in CMS and accessibility training with the team.
• Support Product Managers delivering value to Met Office app and website.
• Gather user insights to inform development.
