Job summary

Howden is seeking a Product Governance Manager to ensure products meet regulatory requirements while delivering positive customer outcomes. You will partner with senior stakeholders to shape governance practices, embedding them across the organisation and guiding product reviews and training.

The role requires extensive compliance knowledge within the insurance sector and the ability to translate regulatory expectations into practical controls and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of regulatory expectations for Product Governance, Consumer Duty & Fair Value assessments.
• Experience in a compliance role (1st/2nd LOD) within Insurance Intermediary, Insurer or MGA.
• Understanding of insurance principles, products and services.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Management to meet regulatory expectations.
• Assist in assessment and approval for new/changed products via Product Governance Committee.
• Embed product governance principles across the business.
• Develop and deliver training on relevant processes to improve compliance.
• Serve as primary contact for Information Requests, FVAs and related activities.
