Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is recruiting a Civil Engineer- Engineering Products for Sizewell C, joining a product family from concept to site delivery. Initially based in Dartford/London, the role progresses toward Sizewell C in Suffolk with greater on-site presence.

The role requires coordinating engineering, manufacturing, digital and project teams to deliver reinforced concrete product solutions, from design reviews to site deployment.

Qualifications

• Experience in product coordination/ownership within engineering and construction.
• Project coordination across complex technical projects.
• Background in reinforced concrete, precast, or product manufacturing.
• Experience with DFMA in large infrastructure.
• Strong collaboration across technical, commercial and operational functions.
• Ability to plan, manage risk and deliver programmes.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of a product family throughout its lifecycle.
• Act as the central point of coordination between engineering, manufacturing, digital and project delivery teams.
• Manage technical requirements, programme milestones, risk and cost considerations.
• Drive product maturity, readiness and integration activities.
• Coordinate design reviews, assurance activities and governance processes.
• Manage interfaces between design, manufacturing and construction teams.
• Translate customer and project requirements into practical product solutions.
• Support decision-making and resolve issues through collaboration and influence.
• Provide clear visibility of product status, risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
