Job summary

Laing O'Rourke is seeking a Product Engineer to lead a family of reinforced concrete products from concept through manufacturing and on-site delivery, with initial base in Dartford/London and eventual move to Sizewell C in Suffolk.

You will coordinate engineering, manufacturing, digital and project delivery teams, manage technical requirements, milestones and risks, and ensure customer requirements translate into practical product solutions across civils and construction.

Qualifications

Experience leading product families within engineering, construction or manufacturing.
Experience managing complex technical projects with cross-functional teams.
Background in reinforced concrete, precast or structural products.
Ability to translate customer and project requirements into practical product solutions.

Responsibilities

Lead development and delivery of a product family throughout its lifecycle.
Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, digital and project delivery teams.
Manage technical requirements, milestones, risk and cost considerations.
Drive product maturity, readiness and integration activities.
Coordinate design reviews, assurance activities and governance processes.
Manage interfaces between design, manufacturing and construction teams.
Ensure customer and project requirements translate into practical product solutions.
Support decision‑making and resolve issues through collaboration and influence.
Provide clear visibility of product status, risks and opportunities to senior stakeholders.
