Allstate NI, part of Allstate, is seeking a Risk Engineer to design, build, and operate software products for risk management and control workflows. You will own capabilities end-to-end, from architecture to production support, writing and maintaining production code across React front ends, Spring Boot services, and data layers.

The role emphasizes modern development practices, including TDD, pair programming, automated testing, and CI/CD, with collaboration across product, platform, and risk

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of software engineering with demonstrated ownership of production systems.
• Proficiency in React, Java, and Spring Boot.
• Minimum 1 year of experience coaching or mentoring engineers.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating APIs, REST interfaces, SQL data stores, and Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of modern development workflows and CI/CD practices.

Aufgaben

• Design, build, and operate software products for risk management and control workflows.
• Own risk engineering product capabilities end-to-end from architecture to production support.
• Write, test, and maintain production code across React front ends, Spring Boot services, and SQL data layers.
• Apply test-driven development, paired programming, code reviews, automated testing, and CI/CD.
• Contribute to system and component designs focused on scalability, reliability, and security.
• Collaborate with product managers and platform teams to align capabilities with enterprise risk needs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and foster a culture of fast feedback and incremental delivery.
