Job summary

NewDay is seeking a Product Design Manager to lead a team of designers and shape experiences across digital products. You will blend hands-on design with people leadership, guiding discovery, research, and delivery while collaborating with Product and Engineering to meet customer needs.

You will drive onboarding journeys, ensure accessibility standards, and influence direction through evidence-based insights to improve adoption and engagement for millions of customers.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Product Design, UX and UI Design within digital product environments.
• Experience designing onboarding journeys and user flows that simplify adoption.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and develop Product Designers while maintaining high design craft.
• Experience conducting user research, usability testing and applying insights to product decisions.
• Ability to explain design decisions clearly and influence direction with evidence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Product Designers, enabling growth and high performance.
• Shape customer experiences across our digital products with intuitive, accessible designs.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering and Business Development to translate insights into practical design solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end design process from discovery to prototyping and delivery.
• Raise quality and consistency of design across journeys and touchpoints.
